What you say about rendering the human form has merit, but would rather have this than the corporate clinical look of today. Applies to many things; compare old architecture to today's sterile version.
I kinda regret to say that the artist who painted the mural on the truck body didn't have the first idea how to paint humans standing in natural postures. Those two figures look like stuffed dummies.
