According to The Discovery Channel, aliens from a galaxy far, far away moved it. No way humans could do such a feat; or build the Pyramids or discover how to use fire. The cable box is really a representation of what they probably looked like.

The linked account of the building move is just crazy. I loved that they lightened to load by loaning out as many books as they could.
I visited Springfield in the fall of 2013. I got to spend time in their beautiful Symphony Hall but I wish I had spent the time to explore more of the buildings that have been shown here on Shorpy recently.
Just how do you move a building of that size? It was long before Superman was born, so he was not there to help.
