I am pretty sure I was doing the same thing in the exact same spot, during the summer of 1965.
If this doesn't bring memories for all of us. I remember doing the same exact thing in a local creek, only back in the 80s. And damn -- does that look refreshing after a 100-plus day!

Would love to do this NOW its hot!!!!!! My generation's answer to this was to turn the fire plug on, stayed cool until the cops came. also we did not believe the seniors who would tell us that we would get polio from the water.
I'll bet those boys' mother appreciated the fact that they washed their own clothes that day!
