The fifth man from the left side of the photo standing on the bridge (wearing a 9-button shell jacket) clearly has a 2nd Corps badge on his forage cap. This was a trefoil as depicted below:
The man on the right appears to be fishing. Soldiers always complain about the food in the mess hall.
