My Grandfather, John C. Miller, ran the only store in Irwinville Farms (Georgia) during the depression. I'm pretty sure this is the store behind the young boy.

You'll see that the sign for Dr Pepper contains a period after the "Dr", an abbreviation indicator they later dropped for typographical reasons.
