Washington, D.C., 1924. "Washington Hunt motor car." The building is the Joaquin Miller cabin at Rock Creek Park. National Photo Co. View full size.
I believe that the car is a 1923 or 1924 Flint Six. The Flint Six was made from 1923 - 1927 and was affiliated with the Durant and Locomobile car companies.
No Oldsmobiles had the curved detail shown below the doors on the dust/chassis apron. Most Oldsmobiles also had canted louvers on the hood instead of vertical louvers.
Okay, is Hunt the brand of automobile (unlikely from the syntax) or does this fine motor belong to the Washington Hunt (a group of the unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible)? Irrespective of that, the dog is a real winner.
[The car is an Oldsmobile. -Dave]
