The land that this man farmed in the 1930s might be part of Omaha now. Back then anything west of 72nd Street was farmland. In the 1990s the western city limit was just around 144th Street. Today the western limit is near Elkhorn and has annexed that town.
Not too far off--Marlon Brandon was born in Omaha (which happens to be in Douglas County) in 1924. I guess there were just lots of handsome young men running around in the 30s!
He looks like a young Marlon Brando - I love the child in the back seat of the car.
