well, not REALLY, but about 44 years ago I married a young woman who was a dead ringer for Grace Kelly (to my love-freshened eyes, she looked even better). Now along comes this photo, reminding me that 3 years later she divorced me and I ended up with the damned cat. Thanks a bunch, Shorpy!
What a stunning woman. If I had to pick out the five most beautiful women who ever appeared in Hollywood, she would be on the list, along with Julia Roberts, Ingrid Bergman, young Mary Astor, and Natalie Wood.
Perhaps the most classically beautiful woman ever to "grace" the screen - or anything else for that matter. Liz Taylor was more darkly mysterious; Natalie Wood was just prettier; Marilyn Monroe was more joyously sexy. But for just pure, epic beauty, Grace Kelly is a category unto herself. Breathtaking!
My kind of kitten. Just saw her Sunday night on TV in "Rear Window" and "To Catch a Thief."
A cat in fabric does not always equal the work of Harry Frees.
