A blurb in the May 11, 1923 Madison Capital Times (with a "Washington" byline) reported that two couples of marathon dancers shuffled off to the courthouse to get marriage licenses, and were married while dancing on a Potomac River houseboat.
I wonder what the letters "USM" on the collar of the man in uniform on the right stand for?

Those two (possibly three) women are going to be very busy, indeed. What legislation is the seated wax effigy of Arnold Schwarzenegger signing into law? And what the heck is up with the handcuffs?
