We lose sight of the fact that before WWII, this was indeed, a very poor country. Agra workers labored for a pittance (the farmers as well as the migrants) and in many cases, worked themselves to death. I'm new to this site. Is Lewis Wickes Hines the same artist that was the Empire State Building "official" photographer?
