According to a Tribune mention from 1942 this was 4349 South State Street. Paper mentions they received two truck tires -- it was a list of who got rationed tires. Appears to be an empty lot now.

…was acquired by Universal Foods Corp. in 1981, and rolled into its Red Star Yeast division. After Universal Foods changed its name to Sensient Technologies in 2000, its yeast operations were sold to a Paris-based company, Lesaffre et Compagnie, in 2001, which still sells Red Star Yeast. So in a roundabout sort of way, this company is still around.
