San Francisco, 1929. "Paige coupe and biplane at Mills Field." Latest entry in the Shorpy Catalog of Quaint Conveyances. 5x7 glass negative. View full size.
A slight correction to gturkovi. The Graham name was retained after 1930 and the Paige name dropped. The Graham Brothers built light trucks on Dodge Brothers chassis. Dodge bought out Graham who in turn purchased Paige. Graham stopped building cars in 1940 and concentrated on war materiel. By that time Joe Frazier controlled the company. After WW2 he went into partnership with Henry J. Kaiser to create the Kaiser and Frazier automobiles.

Anyone know the purpose of the extended hub structures?
I almost expect to see Bond-like tire slashers concealed there!
Cool styling on that windshield visor; looks like an accessory.
The Graham Brothers were very successful "sub-contractors" producing parts for Model T Fords before WW I. They broke away and began producing their own vehicles, specializing in trucks. In the 20's they bought out the Paige automobile and began producing the Graham-Paige. About 1930 they dropped the Graham part of the name and produced some unusual car designs through the Depression.
Is my guess for the biplane. Wonder who the pilot [?]row was.
I wonder what the relevance or significance is of the symbols that appear to be on the windshield of the car?
