A friend took me and my mom to a tobacco auction in Sylvester, Georgia, about 1963. Except for the suits and bowler hats, it looked about the same. There was an actual waterboy, carrying a bucket and a dipper, with a Dixie cup dispenser hanging from his belt. My souvenir of the day was a clump of tobacco leaves like the guy here has.
