By 1940, John Scowcroft, founder of Scowcroft and Company of Ogden, Utah, maker of Scowcroft Never Rip Overalls, had been dead for 38 years, and his great grandson Brent was already 15. Brent Scowcroft (still alive at 93 years old), would go on to achieve the rank of Lieutenant General in the USAF and serve as National Security Advisor to two Presidents.
