… for his final course work at the Spartan School of Aeronautics circa 1949, my dad’s handmade strut for presumably a Stearman. An amazing display of skill, and amazing that it survives to this day.
Edit: Just ribbin' you...inadvertently. I should watch my phraseology, this actually being a rib not a strut. Obviously I did not follow my father's career in aeronautics...
