I like the fact that these women look very feminine. So many women today don't have that same sense of style. My Mom grew up in this era and she still has a wonderful sense of style. She will not leave the house unless she has "dressed" and made herself look good.
I wonder if they dressed that nice all the time or if they knew that they would have their photos taken that day?
I think women's fashion really peaked in the 40's.
