Compare this pic with the scene in "Some Like it Hot", where the band arrives in Florida, with all the old millionaires lined up in their rocking chairs. I think Billy Wilder got it right!
I lived right by there about 5 years ago. The Park is still there, and at one time, some years back, people thought about making it into the new Marlins Stadium, but unimaginative politicians decided to just build a ballpark elsewhere....
I guess Florida has always been for fogies.
