1924. Washington, D.C. "Ford Motor Co. NuGrape delivery truck." Note the perforated solid rubber tires. View full size. National Photo Co. Collection.
I like drinking NuGrape, is delicious
I was idly wondering about the value of some of these NuGrape signs if you had them today. I went over to eBay and found a '30's or '40's looking NuGrape thermometer bid up, so far, to $122.50. I guess NuGrape was still going strong in the 1950's from some of the stuff for sale; same bottle shape, too.
A friend of mine bought some solid tires for his 10-speed bike back around 1980. That was a rough ride. The cross-drilled tires on that truck looks like a good idea.
I have a NuGrape can around here somewhere, probably from the '70s when I collected cans as a kid.
