Hall of Famer Walter Johnson, who went 23-7 in 1924, is pictured in the front row, middle, 5th from the left and 5th from the right.

Finished first in the AL with a 92-62 record. Led by Goose Goslin with a .344 batting average, 12 home runs, and 129 RBIs. Walter Johnson, the "Big Train", led the pitching staff with a 23-7 record, 158 strikeouts, a 2.72 ERA, and a .283 batting average to boot.
Besides Goose and Big Train, some of the interesting nicknames on the team were Muddy Ruel, Nemo Leibold, Mule Shirley, Showboat Fisher, Pinky Hargrave, and Firpo Marberry.
