There used to be a folktale that if one was able to bite into a floating apple and hold it between their teeth for a time using no hands, that person was certain to find the partner of their dreams. I bet the space inside this window smells tantalizing with sun-kissed, snapping crisp, fresh, juicy apples. Ah, if only I had teeth!

Lafayette Journal and Courier: The year now has fifty-two regular weeks and 135 "national weeks." As far as the record has been checked, the month of October is to include Girl Scout Week, Management Week, National Fire Prevention Week, National Picture Week, National Apple Week and Pharmacy Week.
