WARNING: Slightly gross story.
This photo reminded me of when I took my anatomy lab in nursing school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the summer during the mid 1960's (no air conditioning - Midwesterners will understand the relevance of these details).
I walked into the building the first day the the stench was overwhelming. Well, thought I, the class is on the fourth floor so it will be ok. I went outside, hyperventilated, filled my lungs and RAN up the four flights of stairs (did I mention young and dumb?), flew into the classroom with bursting lungs, took a HUGE breath and saw (and smelled) a room full of rows and rows of tables upon which there were cadavers from which the stench was emanating!! I toughed it out and made it through, but didn't eat meat, especially chicken, for at least 6 months after that!
So, these young ladies in their starched uniforms, some of whom are looking dubious, have no idea how GOOD they have it! - Carrol
I really like this photo.
The chairs look more uncomfortable then the ones we had when I went through anatomy, but it's still a great picture.
:)
