Washington, D.C. May 29, 1923. "Foghorn Clancy Jr., youngest member of the rodeo to perform in Wild West show during the Shrine convention." National Photo Company Collection glass negative. View full size.
Fredrick "Foghorn" Clancy's son, Fredrick "Alabama Slim" Clancy Jr. (my step-grandfather)was born on 16Aug1906. The date cannot be correct for the picture to be him. He also had 2 brothers (Pat & Frank) but I do not have their DOB.
[Nevertheless, the vintage of the vehicles is consistent with the date indicated, which came from the envelope or sleeve holding the negative from the National Photo Company. -tterrace]

One quick yank upward on that belt and he has a lifetime career as a male soprano.
I'm going to grow up to be on the Fred Allen radio show.
